He dashes out of the home after the big fight, she is pretty upset too, after few hours when he cools it off and returns home, he doenst find her there.
He asks the neighnours if they have seen her, with no luck, he runs out in the rain to look for her. Just about everywhere he reckons she might be, he searches frantically, but in vain....Not knowing where else to look, with lost hope and a weighty heart he comes back home and slowly opens the door, brushing his wet hair back....just then he finds her sitting in the couch, feet up, arms around her legs, with a shawl wrapped, her eyes so full, her lips tightly curved down....in that split of a second, the relief in his eyes that she's safe, the restrained anger and loss of it, the want to protect her, hold her, but unable to with the fear that he might ....then she comes running to him and asks him to promise her that he will never leave her, that he'll never be upset with her, with his jaws clenched in control of his surging emotions and not wanting her to see it, he brushes her hair back and promises her, better yet, makes dinner for her, with rice and achaar.
I couldnt help it, i just sat there and wept it out, so sweet of him and her. The song following that later kind of smoothed my nerves, but just couldn thelp but give kudos to both kamal and sridevi to have conveyed the thought so beautifully. The director Balu mahendra must be so proud of them, it felt like thier acting was just bursting into life. The switch she makes into a suave woman towards the end, when she gets better was just terrfic. Unfortunately the last scene was deleted which i was waiting for. So now when i'll have time, i gotta watch this movie again.
I totally dig her Lamhe, Chandini, Kshana Kshanam, kamal's Sagara Sangamam....i have lost count how many times i have seen these movies. Love them both....akali rajyam of these two is just awesome with sri sri dialogues, the tempo and that one song my brother use to sing...
But that one scene just stuck in my head, wanting to be written in my words....i had to.

Hello Distants!
While sipping my "wake up linku" chai, a distant memory tagged with few others just burst into my mind, with that my level of feeling peppy just amped up. I have to look if there are any pictures of that trip.
Watching my baby hide a thing he calls a "sword", in the back of his tee, and pulling it out just topped it all.
With summer here, i looked everywhere for out pool tags, which i think, V must have left it in his acura that he sold. After working out, i headed to see jane at the clubhouse. After hearing my story and most of all saying it with such a dead pan, she just handed me 2 new free tags, which usually cost over 25 each i think. I love it when i dont even turn my charm on, and things just happen. If anyone, she knows how forgetful V is. i couldnt resist giving her a big sweaty hug, muuah jane.

Love, Life and all the rest.
After putting our little dreams to sleep, Sunita and I, finally got a chance to catch up, all our dudes were partying in Philadelphia. It's funny, how people interpret one issue, concern or whatever but have different solutions to it. How the verbage is so different for conveying the same problem? How one can feel protective but the other can feel confined? I winged something which i found i need to retrospect some more.....do we really know who we are, are we continually presented with opportunites to find out a little bit more of ourselves as we keep going. So when is that we findout who we truly are, when do we ever get comfy with ourselves?
She said the people we love love the most, we end hurting them or they to us the most, sometimes its longer than we think, sometimes not so long. hmm...well there goes my sleep for tonight. How can some people be so connected and not even know for thier entire lives, how can love be so much more and as strong as it looks, and yet its as fragile as china.
Watching Sex and the City and as any girlfriends would dwell, we wondered which one of us is those people in the movie, so sunita thinks she is charlotte and so i ask her which one is me, she says you are such a strong personality, you have to be SJP, sarah jessica parker. well well well blogland, make way for me.
She gives such awesome compliments, kya phool ki tharah khili ho, hmm...there bloggy i got some that u didnt, i should give u a name by the way. Let me think, how about kishmish. or simran or Scarlett or Rhett or mehr.
"Old new york, new york, honey it's atleast new york"...ha ha Samantha wings some funny stuff
the subtext of the text is bootay....ha ha ha.
You cant stop being who you are because you are afraid. that comes from SJP.
So now i have to own one LV and Manolo Blahnik's.

Sneaking in
just to sneak few minutes of total peace and solitude admist all the guests 5 + 2 men, 3 kiddos is KRAZZY. Me, my innumerable pillows, the sound of fan, the slight hmm huh of curtains...is so peaceful, if i could get some chai just about now from nowhere, just appear in front of me, i'd like that. The sun trying to sneak in from the split end of the curtains....just about wraps up why i crave "me" time. I love to have guests, i love to have my friends over, but when the "me" time unexpectedly happens, its welcoming. The sms from my jeejs this am, just brightened my morning all the more. Taran's throwing up mishap i think tired me out more than anything. He's so sensitive to loud sounds, loud voices, i think the vol at peace a pizza bothered him, mera bachha....me thinking, me chill for few mts and turn the sprinkler on for the kiddos.

Where does the breeze take you....
Someone over the last week told me "oh you must nicely sip chai after taran's gone to school on the patio and enjoy the view", and i was like hell no, i dont have so much time. So y'day, after dressing up like i was going out to city (which i wasnt), i stepped on to my patio, to be welcomed by the floral fragnance in the slightly warm breeze, it seemed like it was inviting me, so i stood there, and walked around on my kutti patio. Something about hte air reminded me of the time we were in school in eluru.
Boy those were THE days of nonstop nonsense fun, i was a big buff of sherlock holmes, so i;d pretend like i was a character in his show and walk around our home playing pretend games....what was i thinking, i even named myself a silly one, Sandra or sandrania. ha ha ha...better yet, it was the moped days, only my sis and my brother were allowed and i had a red bicycle.
My sis was the SPL (S---- People Leader), i forget what the S is for. She was an all rounder, studies, sports, arts, dance, volleyball. I was a big dhabba on her rep, since we both would go to the same St. Theresa's school. I still remember the day when Sister Pricilla would ask me to bring my sis over to talk, i sulked and mumbled something to my sister, she was like crap what now types. When we went to see her just after the school was over, Sister Pricilla was like "is she really your sister, she's nothing like you, she needs to improve on her maths and needs to practice for her running thingie".
That evening she made me ride back home with her and gave me full on schpiel. i usually rode with Anuradha, my dear friend, took the back roads from the high court and stop at the park and climb over the gates to play swings.
oh my darling, i miss it.
My brother, big stud of the St. Xaviers, big tennis player, into sports too, i'd sneak him into home, since my mom would lock the door as he was late coming back from his practice. so at home i was majorly off the hook. Ammi baba were chilled about me, and pampered like crazy. I remember this one time, my mom wrapped up my science homeowrk, only becoasue she wanted me to not get a bad grade again. i sat next to her in our backyard and told her how to draw properly for my science class project.
i wonder if my sister would remember this one time when she tagged me on her moped to the stadium for her volley ball match. Ofcourse she won, i mean her team won, and she got all these prizes, and i was super proud of her. I was holding all of them and shewas riding the bike. Just then, a bunch of guys, on other bikes were teasing her, something about how well she played and how she should share her prizes with her. I got so furious and i yelled back at them, ha ha ha. Lunoo, was like linku stop it, i;m going to drop you right here if you utter another word. I didnt get why she was upset at me, but i knew in her heart she was glad i gave those silly guys a piece of my mind.
Can we go back there. All this beautiful stories just went on rolling in my head, just beacuse the breeze was so fragrant. I miss...
On my Playlist now ya rabba...kailash kher.
My dolly blog, i wish you were a real person, i'd ask you for ur stories too.

Cute stuff
Nothing like a little connecting the dots and put a msg across. Imagine if a guy needs to propose, i think this will be a cute idea. hmm...
totally dig the jacket, also i think Kim Kardashian is a total hottie, with a capital H.
In Target: Cheap And Chic
Love the Sabayachi saree of priyamani, now that is so proper.
In Sabyasachi
For the love of god, i cant find my black shoes, and where the hell are my shades. I'll probably splurge on a pair of prada shades ; ) no wait i think i like the Ray ban better.
Me think, me likey thier tee's. Even the kiddo ones are so cute. Ok, if priya was here i know what she'd say! Cant wait to get back.

SOS please someone rescue me.
Watched kites last night...i liked it, Vamsi didnt, but then i'm a sucker for romantic movies, sucker for dance moves. "Dil kyun ye mera shor kare"
right about now, i feel like a ipod ad, like you are walking quietly but your shadow is doing a complete different dance to a different tune. I'm walking, wandering, but my life within is doing it's own thing. It's own dance, the knot keeps coming and this time it feels like a tight squeeze of my heart, my throat. A sensation in my chest that is fast evaporating and yet still damp wet.
I'm so childish, i'm so grown up, i'm so mature and yet i'm beyond my zidd. How do you balance it all, how does anyone deal with someone like me????
Just got off watching this show, this guy says...you know you are in love, when you can share utter silence with that one person, when you WANT TO share that silence. But then another one says follow your heart. I think it is when you know a piece of you is ....how do you say it. never mind, some other time.
Just penning all this down is making my knot unknot itself. While putting my baby's clothes in the laundry, i got a whiff of my perfume on one of his tee's, for some reason it made me smile.
How come people in different parts of the world feel and go thru different things and yet, when you strike a conversation with a stranger, it feels like you all are going thru same lanes of life. The power of life is so forceful, so captive. C'est la vie...mon amour.

What happened!
barely slept for 6 hours over 48 hours period, had most amazing time with S&N, considering i'm a more of a vodaka shodka person, i did extremely well with 2 bottles of wine in one evening. Woke up with purple lips, blank eyes, my blue Tommy H shirt and peace funky pink pajamas... wow how did that happen, and absolutely no hangover, and an alert mindset to tend to other guests aka 2 sets of parents at 6.30 am.
bewaja thareef karna apki adadt tho nahi....apki ankhon mein ...wa wa wa...
oh boy, for someone we met for the first time, we hit it off very well and talked till wee hours in the morning, i like that. buss bathein...aur kuch nahi, we laughed so much at his stories, at our stories, at life, how misey finds company, how she and i both find baking THE way of releasing that " ", like its very theraputic, how Sandy likes her macadamia nut cheese cake, and how vamsi licks his fingers for my cream cheese pound cake.
ab mujhey koi intezaar kahan...terrific one.
didnt know she was a wine buff to the point that her folks and folks in law are almost writing her off as a baywedi types. When our dinner hostess dint have wine, we gladly offered to drive tha extra mile and got all the wines she suggested. I have a feeling i'm sounding drunk, maybe it has somehting to sdo with the leftover wine i'm drinking now in my tea mug.
aaj din chadeya....maan i have the coolest songs- phool sa khila hai ye din
baksha gunah ho ko, sunke duao ko, rabba pyar hai tune sabko hi de diya...wah wah bakha gunah ho ko, seriously my bows to the lyricists. mmmuuuah.

apna gham lekey kahin aur jayaa jaye, ghar bikhri hui cheeso ko saja ya jaaye....kya yaar, ithna achaey please songs math gayi aap, i'll die bruised, mr. jagjit singh.
Ghar se masjid hai bohuth door chalo yun karle

I loved the way sandy pondered on my dad's Khali seesalu book and was savouring the words out of the book, he impressed me there. Talking abt impressions, all the folks seemed very impressed with me, kuchi guests, sweet! my mom and dad would have been so proud, cant wait to tell my mom.
all in all, he's a terrific guy, funny, good human being, and she's a sweet heart, creative, fun and a taurian. Yeah, we are both from a Earth sign. XOXO.

Rise like a phoenix
from the ashes...
just about before noon, had this strange passing by feeling just engulf me in this cloud, it got foggier and foggier, as the drops sparkled on the marble, i couldnt shake it off, i'm just carrying the cloud with me since. I want to know where is it coming from, i want to know ....
Will says greatness survives on the egde of destruction. That is such deep stuff...he went on about it and it's even hard to put in words how he translated it so beautifully. Kudos to you, will smith. No wonder you are from my hood.

wow! Cant get enough of atif aslam's voice and the lyrics. Priya says, whoever wrote teh lyrics must have really been thru some emotional trip to even come up with such beautiful lyrics, i couldnt agree more.

Kaisa khuda hai tu
nothing like splitting bourbon ciscuit in half and licking the cream off it, and then finishing off the rest. love it love it love it. My baby jaan gave me one and i couldnt refuse it. yumm, yumm, yumm...
sometimes dont we all feel like we are in a love hate realtionship with forces of world, and natures of god. I do, i especially do, it's like i'm some sort of pet peeve, God in my world he or she, wants to find out how i'll rise above and "let the show run".... wow, if my last blog wasnt a premonition of what i had coming, then i didnt know i'd feel this good. All ths in a matter of few hours, days...whatever. but like the gods of the worlds, or my dad maybe silently want to see me....chalo chodo yaar...
We danced around our life moments, the cracks from friday seem to bring in light and maybe it'll fill in ok. then my duffer friends arrive....just what i needed.
OMG, sunita is totally like a siren, i had no idea of. So she thinks i let alone dont look myself, thinks i dont sound myself, ram thinks i have lost weight, YAY to that, so Vamsi chimes in to say I've been working out! ha ha...then the gastronomical tour starts for the rest of weekend, omg, can we whip up some bad unhealthy food. Jeez...
Then sunita and i went on a major retail therapy, Pier 1 got the most out of me. Like a day you cant forget, i tried to mark it the best way i can and we headed to King of Prussia. Just walked around stores we usually dont visit, we oogled at the choclates we cant eat, stopped at Starbucks, headed to food court, got my watch fixed, talked and talked and talked nonsense. Thr ironic part is retail therapy doesnt do it for me, but the frills that come along with it, spending time with friends and letting it go, does wonders to me. I was surprised she's into Gerald Butler too, omg, if he's not a cutie i dont know who is, oh wait Channing Tatum is. I'll just...well...he's a total eye candy.
She bought this cute little wa-oo-tza, type, polka dot dress for me. I just have to get the shoes to go with it. So i whipped a kick ass tasty "Khatti dal" for her. And i told her, it'll be much better than the "aye wei" khatti dal, that she makes. Too bad, priya is in india, she;s missing it all.
I do hope my fortune cookie prediction comes true. Cross your fingers.
It's one of those days if it were upto me, i'd be in a semi dark, coffee shop in NY, curl up with a book from my dad's collection, sipping my cappacino and watching the rain drip off of umbrella's and people rushing to cross the street.
Boy, i'm stirring up total nonsense on this blog. STOP IT!
What lyrics maan..
Manga jo mera hai
Jata kya tera hai
Mene kaun si
tujhse jannat manga li
Kaisa khuda hai tu
Bas naam ka hai tu
Rabba jo teri itni si bhi na chali

Just let it be...alright
People around me randomly remind me of what kinda person i was before...and i'm like jeez, i cant seem to get hang of her, so you just might have to deal with what you have right now. But anyway, jyo at the party asks us over for chai at her place, which as usual i refuse saying it's late for taran's nap, will cut too close for his evening shower and dinner time, all the time scrunching my brows with a futile smile and she's like linku i cant beleive you've become this responsible, you werent like this before.... uff the R word again, it keeps getting thrown into my face so frequently, now that i've started to hate that word. Really, i mean c'mon, just because i have the personality to bounce and jump at the opportunity to have little fun, doesnt mean i cant pull it off being a responsible one once in a while. They dont get it, shushh her.
It's one of those knots in the heart days, i wish it was dark and dark outside and i wish i didnt have to talk to anyone and just watch into the lake and listen to music and maybe watch "my cousin vinny", "analyze this", episodes of friends, sienfeld, SVU, pride and prejudice, aww the best of all, non-stop reruns of "Ramsay's kitchen nightmares". Just a day of blankness would be good. I wish i had the courage of that guy in "Into the wild" movie, i just love that movie.
I have reminders all over my palm, little bit of it is imprinted on what i hold and a bit of it is faded, so is this to remind me that i shouldnt be reminded of. F*** this Crap.
Huh...thre u go, all better. If it wasnt for u my blog, i'd be so lost.
Lunoo doll, is now bugging me with her rough draft of my story, and calls me sluggish and whatnot for not keeping up with her time line.
So the story is lunoo about 3 friends, Alec, Troy and Nick.
they are friends at a store, they are displayed together, one is a laptop, the other is a Iphone and the last one is a one of those tv's u hang on the wall, lcd, hd whatever that stuff is. And finally a boy who visits the store, or how abt this, they are not at store, they are all at the boys home. first line....when u read this, call me and lemme know ok. bummer.
What song can i whip up for u dolly blog ...lemme think, i'm on this one now:

Should i or shouldnt I ????
Came across these pics online....and i thought of two moments when i used curse words and it hurt my people. Of late, I've been reminded of my unladylike curse words. I mean really, people have bad moods, bad days, bad crappy whatever's and it's tough to be ladylike in those situations. I dont scream it at the top of my head, i dont go overboard with it, i just give dashes here and there to put the darn point across. But anyway, i thought the pics conveyed what i wanted to say in a better way.
Coming to surprises, Taran and i surprised his "teach's" with a bunch of Panera bread bagels and my fave asiago's. yumm...they totally loved it. I hope he doesnt give his funny smiles for his picture day.
i tried, didnt go through, so i think it's a sign. naah...

What a free one!
In all fairness, my life is consorted of ironic and hilarious moments. Now i know why my dad wrote in his letter to mom why he missed me and my humor while i was gone to madras. Beats me....
the guy at the sunoco, who was totally cracking me up, asked me that while iwas just sitting there doing nothing, maybe i should help him clean up the place, and i told him, u know what that i so true, tell me how can i help you, maybe if i drink a pop here, eat some cheetos, and just trash a little bit here and there. thats it, the rest of the crew just started laughing thier hearts out, they and i just hit it off. Then comes the other white guy, telling me how my car failed the inspection, i was bummed, not really, i knew it was coming, but still i thought there was some hope. anyway, as we were making plans about how i should come back later and all that, the funny guy, said you know, i wont charge you for the emission and inspection. Whenever you come back we'll decide.
WOW! All the inspecting and all that for free, for me, for my rocky! My rocky rocked and failed, stupid idiot duffer. Have to let it get done whatever needs to be done. The tire plus guy, wants me to shell over 1500, no way....
On another note, my mom forgot to tell me that "Bharago" uncle passed away....she had a dream about him and my dad. She tells me "i dont know why he was in my dream". Ha ha ha...she's so funny, i told her it's ok, no harm done there. It was only becoz you have seen dad nad him so upclose, done so much for them while they had thier literary discussions, he practically lived with us in hyde, so it's ok. But i really wish i was there with her for mom's day. I love you mamma. I missed you badly, very very badly. I need some of those pain killers maan...it's killing me.

Rainbow...
I think Sunita is feeling bad for fencing me from spending @ the stores the other day, she's been sending me links for my puma shoes, my tees and flooding me with phone calls telling me where to go, i cant help but smile, she's such a funny girl with a TERRIFIC shopping sense.
After wrapping few things, just when i was catching a breather, my babylu wakes up and my day starts all over again.
He and i played so much, we camped under the pool table, did the kung fu fights with the sticks, jumped on the sofa, ran in circles, piggy back him and ran so fast that he laughed so giddily....boy he even danced to Kishore da's old classic that was my fave part. i just sat back and watched my baby, my life dance in front of me. He's a riot.
Then he puts my hairband on my head and says "mamma rainbow"....and my heart just melts all over mushy and i held him little longer and give him a big smack kiss.
