I was corrected by my friend Navin that i misquoted Gulzar, so i stand corrected with the right one:
Guljar had written "in umar se lambi sadkon ko, manjil pe pahunchte dekha nahi, bas daud thi phirthi rahi thi hai, humne toh taherte dekha nahin"
